Correct hub caps

Post  ladyesme on Sat Apr 30, 2011 4:45 pm

I've currently got standard mini 10 inch wheel hub caps on my 64 elf. I'm trying to keep her as original as possible, would it be appropiate to fit some with the elf badge in the centre?

Hi , My 64 Elf is original and has the normal trims without the Riley diamond. It is upto you if you want to buy and fit those with, Very Happy

whilst, being a mark II, it would originally have had plain chrome hubcaps, it doesn't look out of place when people fit the later "proper" Riley badged hubcaps and sometimes a little nice can overrule originality?! Very Happy

It's nice to know you guys aren't a bunch of rivet counters!

The Mrs is really pleased about that as she loves anything that's rare, expensive or impossible to get hold of!!

*sigh*

I thought I'd done my bit searching for difficult parts getting all the GT bits for my clubman....oh well practice makes perfect! Twisted Evil
