Electrical Wiring Loom

Post  durham28 on Mon Jan 21, 2013 11:01 pm

Hi. I am restoring a 1968 MkIII Elf. I have got all the metal work sorted and am trying to rebuild it to ensure everything fits before stripping again for painting in Snowberry White. I have realised that I do not seem to have very much of the wiring loom left. Is it possible to still get these made some how or is it recommended to make your own ? Also is it easier to make a new one when changing to negative earth?

These guys are very helpful and have a good reputation as far as I can tell.

Link is to Hornet as they don't list the Elf.

I will check them out.
Still not sure if I will just make my own as I will be adding some additional bits and pieces.

I have used Autosparks and their wiring looms are very good with the exception of the instrument lamp holders. Keep your own and either ask them to fit them to your new loom or do it yourself. If you have an idea of what you need regarding extras etc., they may me able to produce a custom loom for you.
