She definitely looks a lot better with the proper grille on. Keep the updates coming.

at this point should introduce you to the donor car. At some point this was a 1979 GTS, but is very rusted.

motor is out already and at the engineering shop, first thing needed is the spacer drums from the back and the 8.5 inch disc brakes which i traded for....

7.5 inch ones (really want to keep my 10inch wheels)

came with....

It's a pity about that GTS being so rusted. I'd love a set of those original arches they came with.

Did that donor car have the arches on?

I'm also going to have to do the brake conversion on my car at some stage. It looks quite neat on yours. Just my opinion, but I'm glad you got rid of those white trailduster wheels and given the car a more clean and classic look with the bikini trims!

they were there but were broken and the previous owner attempted to blend them into the body with fibre glass or something....

totally hated the trailer wheels! wrong pcd and they were too far offset, was causing problems with the wheel bearings.

Pity about those arches . . .

Now you just need to add in the trim for the arches and she's sorted (my opinion obviously). Smile

I am pleased to see that you have gone for the authentic black finish on your Lockheed brake calipers.
Overall a really good job.
