Recolouring seats

Post  Hornet_auto on Tue Nov 11, 2014 2:47 pm

My hornet came with 1990's mini seats which i now want rid off, I found a fairly nice leather set on ebay, but they are different colours and not the colour i want as my interior, which is red.
I often go to cars shows and I see people selling products which recolour the leather, the leather is not cracked or spilt, but is in need of reconditiong. Has anyone ever used recolouring kits, and could give me some advice on whether they are easy to use. I know there are two types ones that sprays on the colour and one that you rub in. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Rose, Use the search function on the forum and look for seat dyeing or coloring. There are a couple of posts dealing with dyeing leather seats.
