September Mini Magazine

Post  Red Riley on Sun Oct 11, 2009 12:26 am

I suppose at least some of you have already seen the cover of the September Mini Magazine. Anyone know that car or owner? I thought my Elf was pretty highly modded until I saw that one. Hasn't got much Elf left, but I reckon it's pretty amazing anyway. The booted Minis didn't fare too badly inside the mag either. I counted 16 pics with the cover shot, including a couple of my car on pages 25 and 27 from Mini Meet 2009.

Paul Staplehurst did park his white Elf (what was left of it anyway!) for a short while with our cars on the Club stand. Jason took a photo (see link below)

For what its worth i love the elf, would love to build a similar hornet but with a standard bonnet and traditional paint scheme.
I missed out on a similar one on e-bay about 3/4 years ago, Think it was from or went to Wales, does anybody know where it lives now.

It's not in the North Wales area.

I can't remember if I ever posted this on here. I'd like to build this some day. A chopped and channeled Hornet or Elf "Sprint."
